W Y C S is a Livestock ultrasound service. We are UGC (Ultrasound Guidelines Counsel) / CUP (Centralized Ultrasound Processing) certified. Our customers include seed stock producers, commercial producers, heifer development groups, feedlots and county fairs.

We have seen an increase of interest from seed stock and commercial producers for freeze branding. This has led us to combine two of the services we offer, carcass ultra sounding and freeze branding at the same time of scanning for carcass traits.

W Y Cattle Service is committed to helping improve the livestock industry by providing a professional ultrasound service for seed stock and commercial producers.

Experience

We are CUP (Centralized Ultrasound Processing) and UGC (Ultrasound Guidelines Counsel) certified ultrasound technicians qualified to work with all breed association’s currently collecting ultrasound data. We are a fulltime ultrasound service having 17 + years of experience scanning 10,000 + head annually. Our customers include seed stock producers, commercial producers, heifer development groups, feedlots, and county fairs.

Technology / Equipment

We use the New Aloka 500 ultrasound machine and the UICS carcass ultrasound software which is currently the most up to date software available from the National Cup Lab in Ames, Iowa.
